چکیده
Land use land cover (LULC) dynamics have long been recognized as a significant driver of natural resource change. As result, understanding the spatial and temporal variation LULC in watershed is essential for effective management long-term development. This study attempts to analyze change drivers from 1990 2020 predict situation 2035 2050 Ajora-Woybo watershed. ArcGIS 10.3 ERDAS 2015 were used quantitative data Landsat imagery. For supervised image classification, Maximum-Likelihood classification algorithm was used. To identify variables, focus groups key informants' interviews done. TerrSet 18.31 software utilizing Multi-Layer Perceptron Neural Network Cellular Automata-Markov Chain models incorporated Change Modeler. Six classes discovered: cultivated land, built-up, shrub forest bare water body. Cultivated built-up area, increased at expense over last three decades. Trends bodies show both decreasing increasing trends. According predicted outcomes, has increased, while declined. Finally, agricultural expansion, population growth, wood extraction, resettlement, urbanization, lack environmental consideration identified major The demonstrated that there changes LULC. reversing conditions critical ensuring viability.

Watershed conservation prioritization using geomorphometric and land use-land cover parameters
Geomorphometric features and land use/land cover are essential in the context of watershed prioritization for resources conservation and protection. Watersheds in tropical regions like the Philippines are under threat of degradation due to the combined effects of uncontrolled agricultural activities in the uplands and frequently increasing erosive precipitations brought about by climate change....
متن کاملHistorical Image Registration and Land-Use Land-Cover Change Analysis
Historical aerial images are important to retain past ground surface information. The land-use land-cover change in the past can be identified using historical aerial images. Automatic historical image registration and stitching is essential because the historical image pose information was usually lost. In this study, the Scale Invariant Feature Transform (SIFT) algorithm was used for feature ...
متن کاملMonitoring and assessment of land use/land cover changes in Kashkan basin using futures studies approach in managing ecosystem services
Land use/cover change is one of the main factors in environmental changes. The changes directly affect the value of ecosystem services. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effect of land use/land cover change in the Kashkan area on its ecosystem services. This research was carried out in three stages, including the analysis of land cover changes, prediction of changes, and carbon st...
متن کاملHydrological responses of a watershed to historical land use evolution and future land use scenarios under climate change conditions
Watershed runoff is closely related to land use but this influence is difficult to quantify. This study focused on the Chaudière River watershed (Québec, Canada) and had two objectives: (i) to quantify the influence of historical agricultural land use evolution on watershed runoff; and (ii) to assess the effect of future land use evolution scenarios under climate change conditions (CC). To achi...
